The findings were compared with those in 57 healthy individuals (mean age, 28±5.1 years). All the participants were right-handed.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. There was a more pronounced increase in blood flow velocity (BFV) while performing verbal cognitive tasks in the vessels of the left hemisphere (LH) and a more marked rise in that when fulfilling non-verbal cognitive tasks in the vessels of the right hemisphere (RH). The trends in the ratio of LH/RH BFV amplification when performing cognitive tasks were observed to be the same as previously observed in the healthy participants.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Цель исследования – сравнительный анализ закономерностей функциональной специализации полушарий у больных с локальными опухолевыми поражениями головного мозга и здоровых участников.</p><sec><title>Пациенты и методы</title><p>Пациенты и методы. У 40 больных (20 мужчин и 20 женщин) с локальными опухолевыми односторонними поражениями головного мозга (астроцитомы, глиомы, метастазы) в возрасте 19–60 лет (средний возраст – 33±9,2 года) исследовали функциональную специализацию полушарий для речевых и зрительно-перцептивных функций при выполнении когнитивных заданий с применением метода функциональной транскраниальной ультразвуковой допплерографии. Полученные данные сравнивали с таковыми у 57 здоровых (средний возраст – 28±5,1 года). Все участники были праворукими.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Выявлено более выраженное усиление скорости кровотока (СК) при выполнении вербальных когнитивных заданий в сосудах левого полушария (ЛП) и более выраженное усиление СК при выполнении невербальных когнитивных заданий в сосудах правого полушария (ПП).
