Etiological systematization of WEHD is presented. The fea- tures of brain injury, neurological disorders, and long-term prognosis in patients with acute hyponatremia are discussed. The diagnosis and therapy problems in patients with water-electrolyte homeostasis disorders are analyzed; a clinical case is reported. </p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Нарушения водно-электролитного гомеостаза рассмотрены в двух аспектах: как возможный фактор провокации острых сим- птоматических судорог у больных с декомпенсацией водно-электролитного гемостаза и как фактор дестабилизации заболевания у пациентов с эпилепсией. Представлена этиологическая систематизация нарушений водно-электролитного гемостаза. Обсуж- даются особенности повреждения головного мозга, неврологические нарушения и их долгосрочный прогноз при острой гипонатри- емии.
