Cerebrovascular diseases are one of the most common risk factors of symptomatic epilepsy. The paper considers the epidemiology and pathogenesis of post-stroke seizures, the predictors of their development in patients with vascular lesions in the brain, as well as antiepileptic therapy.

Цереброваскулярные заболевания — один из самых частых факторов риска развития симптоматической эпилепсии. Рассмотрены эпидемиология и патогенез постинсультных эпилептических припадков, предикторы их развития у пациентов с поражением головного мозга сосудистого генеза, а также вопросы противоэпилептической терапии.
