One group of medications associated with the development of demyelinating disorders (including MS) is tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) inhibitors. The limited number of reported cases of demyelination associated with this group of drugs (specifically, adalimumab), both in domestic and international medical practice, prompted the writing of this article. It presents a clinical case of a female patient who was prescribed adalimumab for the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis and developed MS in the fourth year of the disease (second year of therapy). In addition, a systematic review is presented including 13 patients described in the literature as well as our own case report.</p>
Кроме того, в статье проведен систематический обзор с включением 13 пациентов, описанных в зарубежной литературе, и нашего собственного наблюдения.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>рассеянный склероз</kwd><kwd>демиелинизирующие заболевания</kwd><kwd>блокаторы фактора некроза опухоли α</kwd><kwd>адалимумаб</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>multiple sclerosis</kwd><kwd>demyelinating diseases</kwd><kwd>tumor necrosis factor alpha inhibitors</kwd><kwd>adalimumab</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Haki M, Al-Biati HA, Al-Tameemi ZS, et al.
