In the process of pain chronification emotional-affective, cognitive and motivational components can be distinguished. Cognitive impairments (CI), such as attention deficits, memory loss, reduced learning and decision-making abilities, are observed in almost one third of patients with chronic pain. The spectrum of CI in patients with chronic back pain is age-dependent. Primary headaches are also associated with the development of CI. An important measure to prevent CI in chronic pain is effective pain relief. Lornoxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that acts at different levels of pain formation. The mutual influence of back pain and headache on cognitive function and the maintenance of cognitive potential in the complex treatment of patients are discussed.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Боль в спине и головная боль являются наиболее частыми болевыми синдромами и оказывают значимое влияние на качество жизни пациентов. В процессе хронизации боли выделяют эмоционально-аффективный, когнитивный и мотивационный компоненты. Когнитивные нарушения (КН), такие как дефицит внимания, снижение памяти, снижение способности к обучению и принятию решений, наблюдаются почти у трети пациентов с хронической болью. При этом спектр КН у пациентов с хронической болью в спине зависит от возраста. Первичная головная боль также ассоциирована с развитием КН. Важной мерой профилактики КН при хронической боли является эффективное купирование болевого синдрома. Лорноксикам – нестероидный противовоспалительный препарат, который работает на разных уровнях формирования боли.
