Understanding the structural organization and functional interactions of this system will provide new insights into the mechanisms underlying PTSD. The results of various morphological and clinical studies are considered, including information on the architecture and interconnections of the structures of the limbic system and their alteration by traumatic events. The generalized results provide new data on the role of the individual structures of the limbic system in the development of PTSD, enabling more accurate prediction of the development of PTSD and prompt appropriate measures to alleviate the course of this disorder</p>
Обобщенные результаты дают новые данные о роли отдельных структур лимбической системы в развитии ПТСР, которые позволят более точно прогнозировать развитие ПТСР и своевременно принимать соответствующие меры для облегчения течения этого расстройства.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>морфология</kwd><kwd>лимбическая система</kwd><kwd>миндалевидное тело</kwd><kwd>гиппокамп</kwd><kwd>посттравматическое стрессовое расстройство</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>morphology</kwd><kwd>limbic system</kwd><kwd>amygdala</kwd><kwd>hippocampus</kwd><kwd>post-traumatic stress disorder</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">National Center for PTSD.
