Common symptoms include headache and visual field defects. This review addresses the pathology aspects of diagnosis, conservative treatment, and methods of radiation therapy. Drug therapy of endocrine-inactive adenomas is based on the presence of receptors for somatostatin and dopamine in pituitary adenoma cells. Data on stereotactic radiosurgery techniques such as gamma and cyberknife and disease prognosis are presented.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Гормонально-неактивные аденомы гипофиза – доброкачественные новообразования, вторые по частоте среди аденом гипофиза. Вследствие отсутствия патологической секреции гормонов клиническая картина определяется локализацией опухоли. Распространенными симптомами при этом заболевании являются головная боль, дефекты зрительного поля. В обзоре рассмотрены морфологические аспекты диагностики, консервативного лечения, а также методы лучевой терапии. Медикаментозная терапия гормонально-неактивных аденом основана на наличии рецепторов к соматостатину и дофамину в клетках аденомы гипофиза.
