Article points out diagnostic difficulties arising from the frequent discrepancy between clinical and neuroimaging data. The issues of choice of conservative and surgical treatment are discussed, based on the analysis of data from recent systematic reviews.</p><p>In the absence of focal neurological symptoms, radicular compression is unlikely. The natural course of CR is favorable. Rehabilitation programs are used as the first line of treatment, including a combination of education, exercise, manual therapy, psychological and pharmacological methods. Drug therapy for CR starts with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs administration; to achieve the effect quickly, it is possible to use aceclofenac (Aertal) in the form of a powder for suspension. </p>
</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>цервикальная радикулопатия</kwd><kwd>консервативная терапия</kwd><kwd>мультимодальный подход</kwd><kwd>гимнастика</kwd><kwd>хирургическое лечение</kwd><kwd>нестероидные противовоспалительные средства</kwd><kwd>ацеклофенак</kwd><kwd>водорастворимые формы нестероидных противовоспалительных средств</kwd><kwd>саше</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>cervical radiculopathy</kwd><kwd>conservative therapy</kwd><kwd>multimodal approach</kwd><kwd>gymnastics</kwd><kwd>surgery</kwd><kwd>non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs</kwd><kwd>aceclofenac</kwd><kwd>water-soluble forms of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs</kwd><kwd>sachet</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Статья спонсируется компанией «Гедеон Рихтер».</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">This article has been supported by Gedeon Richter.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Bono CM, Ghiselli G, Gilbert TJ, et al.
