The relationship between CI and SARS-CoV-2 infection appears to be two-way: patients with premorbid CI have a higher risk of infection, severe illness, and death; on the other hand, past infection with SARS-CoV-2 may stimulate the clinical onset and progression of CI, including Alzheimer's disease. For the treatment of severe CI after COVID-19, memantine (akatinol memantine) is recommended.</p>
Для лечения выраженных КН после COVID-19 рекомендовано использовать мемантин (акатинол мемантин).</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>коронавирус</kwd><kwd>COVID-19</kwd><kwd>деменция</kwd><kwd>болезнь Альцгеймера</kwd><kwd>когнитивные нарушения</kwd><kwd>мемантин</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>coronavirus</kwd><kwd>COVID-19</kwd><kwd>dementia</kwd><kwd>Alzheimer's disease</kwd><kwd>cognitive impairment</kwd><kwd>memantine</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Статья спонсируется компанией «Мерц Фарма».</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">This article has been supported by Merz Pharma.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">World Health Organization.
