Myalgias and arthralgias and, in particular, back pain are common symptoms of COVID-19 and can be observed both at the onset of the disease and in the postcovid period. The causes of muscle and joint damage include both systemic inflammation and direct viral injury. Traditionally, musculoskeletal pain is treated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. However, using this drug class in patients with COVID-19 requires caution due to the presence of comorbid diseases and possible complications of viral infection. The review discusses clinical variants and pathophysiological mechanisms of joints and muscles damage in patients with COVID-19 and treatment tactics for patients with musculoskeletal pain.</p>
В обзоре обсуждаются клинические варианты и патогенетические механизмы повреждения суставов и мышц на фоне COVID-19, а также тактика ведения пациентов с болевыми скелетно-мышечными синдромами.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>скелетно-мышечная боль</kwd><kwd>миалгии</kwd><kwd>артралгии</kwd><kwd>остеоартрит</kwd><kwd>SARS-CoV-2</kwd><kwd>COVID-19</kwd><kwd>нестероидные противовоспалительные препараты</kwd><kwd>ацеклофенак</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>musculoskeletal pain</kwd><kwd>myalgia</kwd><kwd>arthralgia</kwd><kwd>osteoarthritis</kwd><kwd>SARS-CoV-2</kwd><kwd>COVID-19</kwd><kwd>non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs</kwd><kwd>aceclofenac</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Статья спонсируется компанией ООО «Гедеон Рихтер Фарма».</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">This article has been supported by «Gedeon Richter Pharma» LLC.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Karaarslan F, Demircioglu Güneri F, Kardes S.
